Day 302: Finding new

We all have someone who we really want but will never be ours. Our relationship with them will always be vague and every act done is smoke and mirrors. But we know that we really love this person, that was the easy part, accepting the fact that it may never be mutual is a hard pill to swallow.

But love will throw you sideways and even when you grasp the fact that your feelings will never be reciprocated, you still pursue this person. Loving them would be at the expense of your self-worth and you will accept that in the name of love. It is all fun and games until they find the one they want for them and leaves you without even saying a proper goodbye. Imagine being so broken for a person who is whole without you. 

So stop romanticizing unrequited love, learn to have self worth and if there is a clear sign that you have no future romantic entanglement with this person, stay friends and find a new one. Stop breaking your own heart for people.
