I know you want that person
and you will find all the reason
that you can be with that person
no matter how many times they do you wrong
You will bend and break for the person you want
and you won't even get a cent back
you will seek to love unconditionally
even it destroys you mentally
They are happy with someone else
or you are just not an option nonetheless
their heart is not yours for the taking
so you move on, with the fantasies you're having
maybe that is why people hate confession
so they can never shatter that obsession
of filling the void of their fantasies
because you are too afraid of reality
You really want the person for you
but they can live without you
I know moving on is painful and scary
but you have to live with reality
the heart can't take what the mind conceived
so the heart will ignore what you need to believe
your eyes will water and your hands will shake
the heart holds on as it slowly breaks
I know you want that person before you
but you cannot accept what is true
maybe the time is wrong
or maybe they are not for you all along
