Speech about Cyber Bullying

Good day everyone, I am Patrick Abarra and I am here today to inform you about the cause and effects of cyber-bullying. First let’s talk about the cause; some do it for revenge, for they cannot express it in real life if they cannot hurt someone physically they will do it psychologically. Some do it for entertainment purposes, well if someone does do it for entertainment purposes these kids are psychos in the making. Some do it to boost their ego, of course you are much tougher on the internet knowing no one can punch you over so toughness provided, you are so brave for fighting someone who cannot touch you. Some do it for the laughs, those are the one who are unconscious about the pain they are causing, and thinking everything they’ve done is a joke. These are the causes of cyber bullying but do you know what causes the cyber bullying the most? The audience, they keep tolerating someone’s action ignoring the fact that they can save a certain someone, but no, they are too afraid to stand up for something right. Well I live in this generation I’ve seen things, horrible things well it’s the internet

            Moving on, the effects of cyber bullying is not the type you see with your naked eye but it is the type that can only be seen by the closest person to the victim, a parent, a relative, or a very close friend may see it. Because physical pain can leave scars that will heal, while the pain that cyber bullying leaves is the psychological one, it is the type that time won’t heal it is the type that time will grow and worse it will devour you and push you into suicidal stage.

            Most of my speech is from me. So let’s hear some of the celebrities quotes about cyber bullying. Here is one quote from my favorite female sing taylor swift: If you’re horrible to me, I’, going to write a song about it, and you won’t like it. That’s how I operate. These are powerful words that can help anyone but not all of us is tough as taylor, I think she should be a role model ignoring the fact she dated a lot of guys. Another is from demi lovato, I don’t like her but these words mean something “People say sticks and stones may break your bones, but names can never hurt you, but that’s not true. Words can hurt. They hurt me. Things were said to me that I still haven’t forgotten.” Demi, in this topic is not as tough as taylor, she is still hurt about something that is said to her. Cyber bullying is more of a play with words, only few use a picture. Most of them even do it for fun, but like Charlie chaplin once said My pain may be the reason for somebody’s laugh. But my laugh must never be the reason for somebody’s pain.wise words said by a man who made a living by not speaking.

            So in the end cyber bullying is the worst thing you could do to a person for hurting someone psychologically knowing they cannot hurt you back is really mean. Let’s agree to think before you click.
