that happened in this fast paced world
and when we were given what we desire
we had no idea what to do with it
that it was wasted on our very hands
it tells the tale that we are fools
that what we desire is not what we need
as we will waste the true love we chase
often we wonder how we waste
the things that took forever to chase
it that we never really needed that something
it's the release of waiting that we wanted
it was never meant to stay
it was only meant to exist
