a play of power, gauging your use
disobey and you're regarded disrespectful
call them out, you're labeled rude
You're as good as how you're used
and one false move change their view
as the manipulators conspire
for you to be useful, solely for their desire
Other people you've helped will be antagonized
and they will play as the villains who lied
but when they left and the smoke settled
you wonder what could've happened if your views weren't rattled
so people don't love people unconditionally
they love people which they can use freely
cause one day when your wits and usefulness fade
you'll be surprised how they all quickly left
