79 of 366: No more chase

It was always you,
who filled my thought of tomorrow
and made the blocked heart of river flow
when songs of love has been heard by few
I saw the few singing to you
Never knowing where all this went
as same feelings when sang colors of the wind
but consider this my quiet surrender
as I am retiring as your ink hand admirer
as from now on I shall alienate my thoughts
and surrender the battle I long fought
I knew from the start that you will never be mine
but atleast now I can say atleast I tried
I will bother you no more
as I shall forever leave you alone
the feelings I had was never reciprocated
but you forever still have my respect
as I have no ill will writing this poem
maybe it's time to break free from this dome
here today with a smile on my face
I shall no longer participate in the chase
