and feels a snap in the perfect ones

you can never go wrong in enjoying the moment

as that moment quickly passes by

where the agony of the worst ones

may feel like forever but will still pass

So dance in the rain, and check the storm

hope for sunlight and the perfect day to come

for the worst will always come and pass

but good times lives within those moments

Real feelings are best kept hidden

as there they are forever safe

free from judgment of others

of chasing someone

out of your league once again

also rejection may seem far fetched

as hidden feelings don't get rejected

but the fear of rejection does grow strong

Between her cheeks is a smile
where you would pay to see it wide
as her eyes disappear when it does
and her laugh is full of delight
she always cringed looking at her photos
as if their the nastiest thing in the world
but the things is she only saw herself in photos
and not in moments where she's being her

She never saw herself smile at a good news
or laugh really hard on a joke
she never saw the way she looks at things
and how wonderful still even when close to sleep
her hair maybe a mess and most unkempt
but the way it flows will make your heart melt
she have never seen how she smile

Lost in her eyes for eternity
as if a lifetime has passed
but when reality hits back at me
only a second was done
it seems to me that I'm always lost
to a place I don't belong
where the light is not on me
and the smile is not for me

Fuller lips with touch of red
and a bit of peach when her skin pales
the first thing I noticed in her
is that wonderful thing between her cheeks
as her lips curve to form a smile
then every follows up to her eyes

She's a walking queen which needs no crown

Traffic is never nice
and that is the one thing
I do not wish to see romanticized
no, it does not give you time to think
or even contemplate in life
because if you've seen what's inside my mind
you are most likely to get out
I never liked the idle moments
that is not associated by silence
traffic is sitting in one place
while everyone honks and scream
it is an event that is never peaceful
nor it should be desired
if you love traffic
then you've never been stuck anxious for work
or having the urge to shit
or with your bladder wanting to burst
as traffic is never nice
and assholes make it worse

Darkness is not all bad

as it is the comfort

when you shut your eyes

nothingness it may seem

it gives you time to think within

as light is not all good

as the irony of too much

it can be blinding

that's why light and darkness

should be associated 

with the concept of good and evil

with light the former

and darkness the latter

as we all want light in our lives

that is not blindingly bright

we're all grey anyway

Don't be afraid to say no
to people especially if
you really don't want to
their opinion on you is their business
and everyone has their own tasks to do
pleasing others is a toxic trait
that slowly builds up on your mind
as you seek the validation others have
you forget the value of who you are
people will say things whether
you do nice or horrible things to them
instead of wasting your time
and losing your energy in thinking
just do whatever the hell you want

There is a place to be loved
or to give love
a place to do things
or don't
in all appropriateness
every single action has a consequence
irreversible at most times
but some things are not even wrong
they just exist in the wrong places
or done and said in an inappropriate context
read the room and learn the context
so you won't make the same mistake

17 of 366: Loyalty

                     People in power are there because people, rather the citizens put them to. As some questionable characters are in power due to most people especially the good ones are silent. The bad ones are loud with their irrational thoughts and false facts. They did not wish to hold the person they supported and voted for to be accountable for some of the mishaps that could have been properly avoided if the people in power did their job properly. We valued loyalty so much that it has been intoxicating to the point that we settle for less not because we think we deserve it, but because you held on it for so long that you don't know what to hold onto if they let go.

                 Praise the right, and condemn the wrong. how hard it could have been? We should not classify people, especially those in power, as black and white. There is no such thing as a person who is pure evil or pure good, so we should not act like the people we put in power can be pure good to the point that we justify their stupidity. Everyone is a grey character as all will make a mistake and we hold them accountable for that. Not tolerate their lack knowledge or care to an imposing threat. 

                At the end of the day, we hold the people in power accountable for their misdeeds and praise them if they did something right. They need not be defended, they can very well do that for themselves. Call them out, don't turn a blind eye for loyalty.

16 of 366: SIlence.

When all seems too quiet and at peace
one cannot avoid to worry
it seems like everything was setting in in place
like a calm before the storm
silence can be deafening
especially like this times
our anxieties keep building up
as the tension keeps heating up
this unusual silence is frightening
cause, who knows what will happen next
we can only wish that this silence
will continually improve
as it leads to a better tomorrow
not an impending disaster

The ashes will be blown away
and the wind will be cleaner
the lava will go back
and the volcano will be dormant
the skies will be blue
and the clouds will be lighter
the evacuees will get to go home
or find a new one to begin with
there will be rain that is not poison
and things will go back to the way before
those things will happen soon
in a future we all dream
but not this time
as we can only help those who struggle
and lend every help we could
then we pray to God
and every kind of God there is
that he will soon make things better

We all yearn for something we can't have
may it be a gift, a dream or a lover
we thrive for things that are out of touch
that our tears are empty
while the wails are void
we feel entitlement to things we don't own
and take advantage of other people
we manage to break everyone's hearts
while having no benefit in the process
and when reality comes crashing in
we lose the hope we hold so much onto
but in the end we can only thrive
that things we want will come to us
if that is what fate decides
but fate has funny twists
that it gives something we never knew
that would be so important to us
that's why you live your life
full of surprises and blessings
that you never asked for in the first place
who knew the that the things you never knew
are now the ones you can't live without

It is in the worst of times that
people show their true colors
as people hoard what could save lives
and sell to the desperate to live
the higher ups are being silent
and has no funds to show
funny how in a matter of life and death
people still find things political
some even find humor in it
and spread news to cause further fear
If that was human nature acting
I guess we're all monsters
In this times where you are lost for words
you just admire those who act
and help those in need
proving that not all are monsters
not all are stupid fake news spreader

Babalik na naman ang mga puyatan

at mga araw na walang pahingahan

aagawin ng pag-aaral

ang masarap kong mga pahinga

makikita ko uli ang mga kaibigan

pero mas masarap buong araw sa higaan

kung titingnan ang nakaraang bakasyon

We love to fit people in our own narrative
breaking our own hearts in the process
creating magical worlds and scenarios
encasing the person in our own imagination
and once they are far from what we expected
we react violently in the process
It just show how powerful a mind is
and how it creates and destroy
the person you grew old with in your mind
will not be bothered to even say 'hi'

In between childhood and growing up

is a great disaster that occured

we lost our hopes and dreams

imagination and enthusiasm

we use to have the stars in our eyes

and gather the wildest thoughts we had

no malice was ever intended

just pure thought of playing 

an escapist fantasy is to be a child

as their thought would just run wild

with no care in the ever changing world

they would simply ask

Losing someone you love takes time to heal

as wound and scars, all the time bleed still

sometimes paranoia kicks in

and as if you were the one in that situation

it feels as if you're the one dying

and the one who will be next

paranoia and anxiety kicks in

and you feel weak in random moments

it's just painful losing a love one

and many things come into mind

even after five months have passed

it feels like like yesterday everyday

the horror you felt seeing that person

and having nothing to do

for once in your life you felt so powerless

as you bear the weight in your shoulders

of the person you just lost 

so now with a literal heavy chest

you reminisce the past 

as looking back is all you can do

Everything will be better
but not as time will provide
everything will work together
if you pick yourself up
if you let all the problems inside
eat you up with all sorts of insecurities
and you trapped yourself inside the house
eating unhealthy foods and playing video games
shutting the world out and never exercising
then you already concede to what is inevitable
look, life sucks okay?
and the boundary of good and bad is not luck
it's how you pick yourself up
it will not get better on the first try
as the you do not expect the fruit
in the moment you bury the seed
it takes time, one step at a time
you go out a bit, exercise
talk to someone, do something fun
even if it feels forced
do it step by step until you get better
because all the days when things get dark
you try to give yourself a fighting chance

We searched the fun in worst of days
forcing painful smiles on our faces
but growing and learning is where you'll see
that sooner or later you'll face reality

sometimes there is no rainbow
or a soft cushion to catch you below
no silver lining to follow
you have to face the fact that you are against the flow

stupid optimism leads to nowhere
or making jokes about something grave
we should learn how to face the problems
as not everything is a laughing matter

to stand in the storm is all sorts undesirable
and not one that most would dare
I guess in the worst of times
let's learn that it's not all humor that should shine

You never knew what love was like
and you always work so hard for it
you were never loved unconditionally
so you settled on being useful
alone , is what you are in most of your years
crying silently and speaking softly
you always wish that others be pleased

Human beings are wired to chase acceptance
but you seem to chase it all the time
with no rest of any kind
you chase and chase and still the same
you always end up settling for less

you worked so hard for the things you want
and people applaud you for that
but the time you felt your back on the ground
as you stood up, no one was around

so the best trait you have
is being the low maintenance person
where you never learn how to ask for more
just accept what others can offer
years have passed and no one is beside you
don't you crave a little bit of change?

The reason people love the new year
is that they hope something magical will appear
as if their problems will be fixed
and past year worries will simply leave
but life does not work in ways we want
as the pain of last year will still haunt
and all those heart breaks and splitting headaches
did not really disappear, did not fade away
they were just covered in noises
by the fireworks, slamming pots and shouting voices
but when all have fallen silent
you remain in the state of lament
what is last back then, remains forever lost
since all these blessings, did came with a cost
and now the fireworks have faded
and all of celebration has ended
you return to your mundane life
